Shipyard Beach - Hilton Head

Shipyard Beach – Hilton Head

Why Shipyard

Shipyard, the smallest of the gated communities, is one of the favorites of families. Our family knew we had found the perfect location when we realized Dad could play golf at any of Shipyard’s 27 holes, the kids could safely bike or play tennis at the Van der Meer tennis facility, and Mom could relax either on the white, sandy beach of the Atlantic or at the pristine Green’s pool…all at the same time! Gated entrances at Highway 278 and Pope Avenue allow guests easy access to activities throughout the island. The Sonesta Resort, just steps from the door, offers varied dining opportunities and the friendliest Happy Hour! For ABC Bachelor/Bachelorette fans, Season 13, Episode 4, 2019, the Sonesta hosted the cast and crew and provided the attractive backdrop for the Rose Ceremony.

Why The Greens

Location, location, location! Perfectly situated within Shipyard, The Greens “neighborhood” is a leisurely five-minute walk to the shores of the Atlantic! The two-story townhouses enjoy the luxury of a pristine pool and the vista of Shipyard Golf. A bike/jogging path winds through miles of lush terrain within The Greens, Shipyard, and beyond. It is conveniently located across from the beachfront Sonesta Resort and Van der Meer Tennis, one of the top 50 tennis facilities in the U.S.
